I Did Not Write This, But I Thought it Was a Fascinating Look at Internet Censorship

I rarely pass along stories, but I thought this makes for interesting/chilling reading regarding the issue of internet censorship.

If you are unfamiliar, Issues and Insights is a real and serious and respectable website run by the folks who once made up the editorial board of Investors Business Daily, and their polling partner - TIPP - was the most accurate in 2016.

In other words, these are not crazies dwelling in their mother’s basement.

And, hilariously, they did ask that it be sent around by as many people as possible just to show Google how much money they will lose due to their de-monetization of the stories referenced.

While this is not about straight-up content blocking, it raises the insidious question of the “soft” censorship of drying up the financial resources of anyone you disagree with.
