About Last Week...
The Blame Game
While I would love to “Blame it on the Bossa Nova,”
my recent absence involves sinus issues more akin to this:
Still, that should be no excuse, even though I am making it one.
Either way, what has occurred in the past week deserves a more serious discussion than is typical in this post.
For example, as to California – that will be coming shortly; suffice to say, simply imagine the worst nature can do and put that on the top the worst humans (so they claim to be) can do.
During the coming week, the various Trump cabinet confirmation hearings will not only be interesting to watch, but they will be a window into what happens with those who are scheduled later.
In other words, if Hegseth sails – he can do the job but with big; it’s not the drinking, per se, it’s the bargaining https://thomas699.substack.com/p/a-very-bad-idea - then everyone else save Tulsi is easy peasy.
The deep state knives are out more for her far more than Hegseth because she can really do something…a lot more real something than Hegseth can do.
As for this week’s epigrams, there are two –
First:
“Pain is weakness leaving the body.”
Ummmm, sure, okay…Pretty sure that is screamed at fat white guys every day by physical trainers, i.e. the people paid by fat pasty white guys to yell at them to make them think they can feel better (escorts excluded.)
Second:
“Pain don’t hurt.”
