So I just flew back from Davos and boy are my hypocrisies tired.
The annual festival of cognitive dissonance is always a hoot and would be even funnier if it weren’t so terrifying.
1000 jets, the world needs to be more equal. Governments need to be more powerful but nations are an outdated concept. We work to better living conditions for all by reducing food and work and increasing civil oppression. The world is going to melt or burn or whatever but, unlike regular people, we really need to be able to move from place-to-place globally because we have to meet to talk about the planet either melting or freezing because everyone else is able to move from place-to-place globally.
This meta-cancer started some time ago, was founded by some global villain henchman Eurocrat, and claims its aim is, well, here “We aim to bring together the private and public sectors to identify the best ways to build economies that can provide prosperity, health, and sustainability, without also spawning disillusion and mistrust.”
