A Completely Self-Effacing Victory Lap
In light of today’s announcement from the White House -
“As a result of all this progress and the tools we all have, we’re moving toward a time when COVID isn’t a crisis but is something we can protect against and treat,” Jeff Zients, COVID response coordinator, said during a news briefing. “The president and our COVID team are actively planning for this future.”
- I thought I would take a moment and activate the not-very-wayback-at-all machine and remind my gentle readers of a trio of recent articles. While this may just be the first step, and the timing is a bit earlier than expected, and it seems state-level actions and upcoming campaigns played a larger role than anticipated, I still think it’s pretty darn close to what was predicted. Not too shabby for a humble denizen of the paragraph factory, if I do say so myself.
