I hope those 7 recalcitrant GOP senators got something for their votes in exchange for a Chinese-compromised condoner of sexual abuse, and a horrific mayor to boot. I can't imagine Indian officials being too pleased, but they obviously can't weigh in on such matters. It would not be as bad as Iraq sending Muqtada al-Sadr to the US as their ambassador, but close.
